The renowned institution’s registrar and vice chancellor, Professor Rita Akosua Dickson, were present at the donation ceremony this morning.

The Vice President promised to provide the university with much-needed technology resources during the 57th Congregation Ceremony of KNUST. He carried out this promise today by giving the organization one hundred laptop computers in person.

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s spokesperson, Gideon Boako, expressed his happiness at being able to use this gesture to advance higher education in Ghana.

He emphasized that the Vice President’s gift would immediately assist KNUST faculty and students, creating an atmosphere that is supportive of advanced research and academic development.

Prof. Rita Akosua Dickson, the vice chancellor, praised Vice President Bawumia’s generosity and emphasized the role that technology plays in the university’s quest for success.

She clarified that the laptops will be given to different faculties and departments so that all students on campus will have access to these useful resources for their education.
